RESULTS

Senior League Ballymacnab 3-14 Granemore 1-08

Our Seniors put in a comprehensive team performance on Sunday with a win over Granemore. Two first half goals from Gavin McParland set the lads on their way on the  scoreboard and lead 2-07 to 0-04 at the interval. Lead by Rory Grugan at midfield and the defensive duties of Rúairí Gribben and Chris Loughran our lads continued to mount further attacks with Ciaran Connolly getting a third goal to record the win and secure the 2 league points.

Under 13 League Derrynoose 3-18 Ballymacnab 0-05

Our Under 13s came up against a really good side in Derrynoose in last weeks League tie. However, our lads tried hard throughout particularly the efforts of  Dylan McParland, Lochlainn Beagan, Daniel Cosgrove and Shane Boyle.

Under 15 Regional Games

In their 5th  Regional Game our U15s game up against a strong Silverbridge side who dominated from start to finish. However, the midfield display from Joe Crilly and a converted penalty from Dillion McKinney did give the home side something to cheer about.

Under 13 League Loughgilly Gaels 2-02 Ballymacnab 3-09

Our Under 13s bounced back from Tuesdays defeat with a win over Loughgilly Gaels at Whitecross. James McParland, Shea Loughran and Eoin Murphy converted the 3 pointers while Lochlainn Beagan was excellent at Full Back as was Ben McGeown at Half Back, aided by the alert and kicking skills of ‘keeper Jack Keegan.

Under 17 Championship Quarter Final Ballymacnab 1-04 Dromintee 3-10

Dromintee’s ability to take their scoring opportunities was the real difference between the sides in this Championship Quarter Final tie. The ‘Nab got off to the perfect start with Paul Crilly finding the net in the early stages. Dromintee responded with a converted penalty and followed up with another goal just before the break to give them a 2-3 to 1-2 lead. Our lads battled hard throughout the second half with the efforts of Lorcan Beagan and Mark Crilly in defence and the midfield pairing of Daniel O’Toole and Conal McGivern. Special word also to ‘keeper Jack Mackle who pulled off a number of fine saves.

Team: Jack Mackle, Brendan Murphy, Michael McLaughlin, Lorcan Beagan, Conal Grew, Aaron Hughes, Mark Crilly, Conal McGivern, Daniel O’Toole, Ryan Greene, Darragh Gribben, Iarlaith Maguire, Darragh Loughran, Paul Crilly, Thomas Vallely. Subs: Joe Crilly for D.Loughran, Conor Haughey for T.Vallelly, Patrick McArdle for B.Murphy.
