BALLYMACNAB ROUND TOWERS GFC Newsletter – 30/07/2018



The Seniors put in a massive effort to record another win in the League away to St.Patrick’s on Saturday. Jack Grugan and Cormac McKee got the all important goals in the 2-05 to 0-06 win. Next game – Friday 3 August away to Harps @8pm.



The Reserves have their final league game at home on Wednesday @8pm against Silverbridge. A win will see the side progress to the Semi Final stage.


The Under 18s took part in the County 7-A-Side Blitz (Southern Region) in Carrickcruppen tonight. After wins against Crossmaglen, Kileavy and Mullaghbawn they lost to Keady in their last game and unbelievably after 3 wins missed out in a Semi Final place on score differences but the lads enjoyed a good nights football throughout.



Well done to the Under 14s who recorded a win over Patrick Rankin Gaels in tonights league tie.

UNDER 12.5

The U12.5s had a two point win over St.Michael’s lst week and will take part in the County Board Blitz on Saturday: Other teames in our section: Silverbridge, Culloville, Killeavy, Dromintee, Forkhill, Crossmaglen.



Under 10s played An Port Mor in a game last week and on Sunday past they also took part in a Blitz held in Granemore.


UNDER 6 & 8

Well done to Under 6 and 8s who played Naomh Eoin in Go-Games tonight. Under 6s play Whitecross (Away) @5pm on Saturday and the Under 8s are taking part in a Blitz on Sunday in Silverbridge.



The Annual football and camogie Summer Camp will take place on Monday-Wednesday 20-23 August. Registration forms are available from underage coaching officers Michael Beagan and Joan Murphy or online:

www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Ballymacnab/EventRegistration. The Camp is open to children who shall be going into P3 in September to current Under 16 players.

The next Monthly Draw will take place on Tuesday 7 August. All sellers are asked to make their returns by Monday 6th.



Ballymacnab GFC invite everyone who pushes a buggy or buggies  to come along to the pitch on a Wednesday evening  at 2pm throughout the month of August for a walk and a chat.  Everyone welcome. Please pass on the invitation.


The Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service will be in the St. Mark’s Hall Armagh on the 30th and 31st August 2018.
